Disclosure Package

After your ride-along, request a disclosure package. This package contains all the documents you will need to sign, financial disclosures on the Franchisors, the manuals and the phone numbers of all the Franchisees past and present. Your 14-Day cooling off period begins now.

Due Diligence

Use your 14-Day cooling off period to take the disclosure package to your accountant, business advisor and lawyer for advice, and call as many of our Franchisees as you wish and ask questions concerning their experience as a Jim’s Cleaning Franchisee.
You can also use your 14-day cooling off period to begin your classroom and field training. One of the best things about a Jim’s Franchise is that you can take all the training before you buy.

That’s correct, you can take our entire 6-Day training course and learn everything we know about running a landscape maintenance business without purchasing a franchise, for free (you only pay for your flights, meals and accommodation on campus).

Now that you know everything we do, you’ve spoken to all our Franchisees and they’ve confirmed that this is not “too good to be true”, you’re ready to sign your Franchise agreement and start your 10 days of field training in Vancouver, BC.

Spend 10 days with us learning the tools, how to quote and perform the work profitably, productively and cost effectively. This is also when we will be supplying you with the software and training to run your business like a well-oiled machine. How Much Can I Earn?

Jim’s franchisees in Canada earn between $150,000 and $1.2 Million per year in gross revenue. We have more than enough work for double the Franchisees we have now. In 2021 we turned away over 1,000 of 6,000 new customers because we didn’t have enough franchisees to meet demand. New Franchisees can take as much work as they want, wherever they want, whenever they want. As long as our customers are well serviced, you can build the business of your dreams.

How Much do I Need to Start?

The initial franchise cost is $20,000 and field training is included. The online classroom portion of training is $1150. Our base equipment package is $4,000.00 which includes cleaning equipment, uniforms and vehicle branding. ***Because of Covid-19 travel restrictions training is online. Travel to Australia is not required.***

$500 Monthly Fees! – No Percentage!

Our franchise fees are less than $500 a month, and they are fixed. We never charge a percentage of revenue, and we never hold back a money from contracts. You keep all your revenue!

All our franchisees contribute $153.00 to our advertising fund so we can advertise the brand collectively and bring in new business. In 2021 we brought in over 6,000 new Jims customers in BC (and we had to turn away over 1,000 because we didn’t have enough franchisees to service them).

And we charge less than $15.00 per lead! When you need new/more customers, we will send you new leads for less than $15.00 each. The first 50 leads for all new franchisees are free.

When you sell a customer, you keep all the revenue!

What Percentage of Revenue do you Charge?

The short answer? We don’t! Jim’s is one of the only franchise systems in the world that does not charge a percentage-based franchise fee. With Jim’s you can build your business as large as you like, with multiple vehicles and teams, while always paying our flat monthly franchise fee (less than $500) no matter how big your business gets. You get the opportunity to build the business of your dreams, big or small, and your franchisor is always supporting your choice.

With Jim’s we don’t push you to work any more than you want to, because we never take a percentage of your work!
